Why Dollar Tree rocks!
Although I'm making a "big kid" salary now, I still shop like a college student! This being said, you must know that I love the Dollar Tree for a few reasons-
1. They have a great selection of Christmas cards - a box of 16 for $1 !
2. My former roommate Amanda swears by their sunglasses - they are cute but cheap enough that you don't feel bad if you break or lose them :)
3. Everything- not just some things- is a dollar!!

Hahahaha
Ok, my new favorite comedian is this guy named Mike Birbiglia. I absolutely roll on the floor laughing every time I hear his act. Ha! You can search YouTube for his acts, but here is a little snippett http://www.looptvandfilm.com/blog/mike_birbiglia_whiffle_ball_tony.mp3

Everybody likes parfaits!
I love the fruit and yogurt parfaits that they have at McDonald's. The other day I thought, "I could make this -easy."
It is so easy and make a great breakfast, snack, or dessert. Kids could help make it too!
Ingredients: vanilla yogurt, mixed frozen(or fresh) berries, granola
In an 8oz glass or plastic cup layer yogurt and berries until full.
Store in the fridge and top with granola when you are ready to eat.
So easy and YUMMY!
Much love,
Holly

10. I love love love these greeting cards by Curly Girl Designs.
9. If you want a pair of sneakers that HUG your feet - try a pair of Puma Voltaic sneakers. They are my favorite shoes ever. Like Laura and I say, "It's shoe fate."
8. Here it is; the recipe for my legendary pumpkin spice muffins!
7. This lip gloss is smells so yummy and it stays on for a long time!
6. Paperblanks is a company that makes my favorite dayplanners and journals - and they look so classy!
5. My family likes to go on vacation at the High Noon at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL. It is such a cute relaxing place to go!
4. During this time of year when everyone is battling dry skin I totally dig Vaseline Total Moisture lotion. For a sore throat I swear by Chloraseptic throat lozenges.
3. If you ever visit Lexington, KY (my hometown); you need to try Spalding's Donuts - yum! Get there early, they close once they are sold out!
2. Ten Thousand Villages is a chain of stores that sell the coolest fair trade items. This would be a great way to do some Christmas shopping.
Last, but not least:
1. Favorite book recommendation: Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne. This book will change the way you see things!
Check out some or all of these!! I think they will make your day a little more awesome!

Welcome Friends!
Hello everyone!
Welcome to my blog :)
Every couple of days I'll be posting on here fun things that I discover whether it be a recipe, idea, quote, website... whatever! It will be like hanging out with me and hearing all my crazy, random ideas. Feel free to respond and post fun stuff too!
Thank you to everyone who helped me brainstorm blog names - I decided on this one because (a) it wasn't already taken and (b) everyone needs a little Holly in their day.
I hope this will be a fun way to keep in touch with friends!
much love
